Coordination platform for India's toll & user fee operations

About us

About AIUCF

The All India User Fee Contractors Federation (AIUCF) is associated with a collective body of stakeholders engaged in toll collection and highway user fee operations across the country. It was formed to bring greater coordination, structure, and representation to a sector that plays a critical role in the functioning of India's national highway network.

As India's highway infrastructure continues to expand under national development programs, the number of toll plazas, contractors, and operational stakeholders involved in user fee collection has grown significantly. AIUCF is associated with addressing this growing complexity by offering a common ground where contractors and operators can coordinate, exchange operational knowledge, and work toward more consistent practices across regions.

The federation is associated with contractors and operators who work within toll plazas and user fee collection systems, providing them with a common platform to align on operational practices, share industry perspectives, and engage with the broader highway infrastructure ecosystem. This includes coordination on day-to-day toll plaza operations as well as engagement with the larger policy and technology shifts shaping the sector.

AIUCF's association extends to supporting the transition toward digital and technology-enabled tolling, including FASTag-based systems, while encouraging standardized practices that contribute to smoother, more transparent highway operations nationwide. As electronic tolling continues to replace manual collection methods, the federation is associated with helping contractors adapt to these changes while maintaining operational efficiency.

The network we work on

Toll operations at the scale of a national network

Why AIUCF Matters

Toll plaza operations sit at the intersection of infrastructure, technology, and daily commuter experience. A fragmented or inconsistent approach to toll management can lead to inefficiencies, congestion, and gaps in transparency. AIUCF is associated with reducing these gaps by creating a structured space where contractors and stakeholders can work in closer alignment - supporting a highway system that functions more smoothly for both operators and the traveling public.

Our Vision

AIUCF is associated with the long-term goal of a highway toll ecosystem that is efficient, well-coordinated, and responsive to the evolving needs of India's transportation infrastructure - one where contractors, technology, and policy move in alignment to support smoother nationwide mobility.

Our Approach

The federation's approach centers on coordination rather than control - bringing stakeholders together, encouraging dialogue, and supporting the gradual standardization of practices across a diverse and geographically spread-out network of toll operations.
